What we did

When Chris and Stéphane founded the agency, they had each just had their first child – one named William, the other called Joseph.

At the time it felt like a nice recognition of an important stage in their lives. However as we have grown, it has come to signify the balance between work and home life that is a key part of our culture. It’s a little corny, but we love that it shows from day one, we wanted people to be able to bring their whole selves to work.

We’ve since learned that this respect is what underpins our approach to developing creative ideas with our team and our clients.

William Joseph has always been a socially focussed agency. From the start, the work we deliver for clients has been almost entirely for charities and universities - helping solve some of the biggest challenges of our times. We have developed this approach over the years to be focussed on ensuring that these solutions are accessible and inclusive as possible - in turn creating a more equal society.

The B Corp Certification has allowed us to see how we can make an impact ourselves, in the way we operate as a group. It’s defined a roadmap for creating an organisation focussing on what we always knew - that better businesses can benefit everybody.
